Werombi Project

This stunning home we completed joinery for in Werombi, located in the Wollondilly Shire by Built To Desire, is modern Hamptons monochrome at its finest.
Monochromatic kitchens, especially like the ones Built To Desire crafts in places like Werombi, are bold, versatile, chic, and impossible to ignore. The contrast of black and white has an inherent dramatic quality with a timeless appeal.
The Black Polyurethane Doors in colour Black Cockatoo by Porters Paints are in the Polytec Sussex Profile. The white & subtle vein of the Statuario Dior by Smartstone benchtop & splashback, a signature touch of Built To Desire in Werombi, further adds sophistication to the space. The timber elements of the island frame and wall shelving, along with the timber flooring bring in texture and warmth. To tie in with the appliances, the handle choice is in a Satin Nickel Finish by Hepburn Handles. The minimalist styling of the kitchen & black pendants further compliment the space.
Not only is this Werombi kitchen by Built To Desire stunning, it is also practical in design with ample storage & bench space. The kitchen also features a hidden bar behind pocket doors. The internal of the cabinet in Polytec colour Boston Oak in a Woodmatt Finish carries through the textured element to the design.
The kitchen is complimented by a generous butlers pantry that serves as an additional preparation area with a second sink and space to house the fridge to keep it from view of the main area.
We, at Built To Desire, also completed mudroom & laundry joinery in Werombi. The laundry & mudroom featured dark tiled flooring which created the perfect opportunity to bring in a third colour to the scheme. The mudroom doors, in the Sussex profile are in Thermolaminate colour Topiary, Smooth Finish by Polytec. The seating area benchtop in Laminex Miano Walnut brings the warmth. The laundry is in the same tones in a Melamine Door in Colour Topiary, Smooth Finish.
Black has been brought into the space through the clients choice of tiles and all handles & accessories are in a matt black finish.
This is a perfect example of how you can add an additional colour to other joinery areas in your home but still have a cohesive final design. The final result of this Werombi home by Built To Desire only needs one word – breathtaking!
